Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is on the rise worldwide, and its diagnosis and long-term management remain a challenge across specialties. Join the International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus (ISDE) for the second installment of Demystifying Eosinophilic Esophagitis, a three-part webinar series exploring the epidemiology, diagnosis, and clinical consequences of EoE. This 2nd session is presented by internationally recognized experts in the field.
Building on Part 1, this session turns from diagnosis to treatment — examining the three pillars of EoE management and how to apply them in everyday practice. Expert presenters will review the pathophysiology of EoE as it relates to both medical and dietary therapy, clarify the role of proton pump inhibitors and swallowed topical corticosteroids in the current treatment landscape, and explore biologic therapy with dupilumab in patients aged one year and older. The session closes with a practical guide to the role of food antigens in EoE and how to bring dietary therapy into clinical practice. Participants will leave with a clearer framework for choosing among — and combining — the medical and dietary options now available to them.
