Diseases of the Esophagus Journal (DOTE), the official journal of the International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus (ISDE), is launching the DOTE Editorial Fellowship Programme, an early-career initiative designed to cultivate the next generation of academic leaders in esophageal diseases. These positions will provide exceptional early-career clinicians and researchers with structured opportunities to contribute to the journal’s editorial work, enhance their scholarly skills, and build leadership experience within an international community.
Role Purpose
The DOTE Editorial Fellowship Representatives will serve as active contributors to the journal’s editorial processes, engagement activities, and capacity-building initiatives. Representatives will work closely with senior Associate Editors through a formal mentorship pathway and will gain hands-on experience in peer review, decision-making, and editorial policy. This role is intended to support professional development while strengthening the journal’s reviewer pipeline, early-career engagement, and global footprint.
