DOTE Early career editorial network

The Diseases of the Esophagus (DOTE) Early Career Editorial Network is a new global initiative (2026) aimed at engaging promising early-career clinicians and researchers in the academic activities of Diseases of the Esophagus. This network will bring together individuals with a shared interest in scholarly publishing and editorial development within the international esophageal disease community.

Members of the DOTE Early Career Editorial Network will have opportunities to:

• Participate in reviewer development and peer-review training activities
• Contribute to manuscript review under editorial mentorship
• Engage in early-career editorial initiatives and journal outreach
• Contribute to emerging DOTE content streams, including perspectives and the Lessons Learned section
• Connect with other early-career researchers and clinicians within the global ISDE community
