Subscription or membership: which is right for you?A subscription is not a society membership. The Video Library Subscription gives you access to the Video Library only, and subscribers are not ISDE members. ISDE membership includes the Video Library and the full range of additional important society benefits.

If you upgrade, the remaining full months of your paid subscription can be credited toward your first year of membership dues. Credits apply only to remaining full months and only in the first year. A subscription does not make you an ISDE member. Does a subscription make me an ISDE member? No. Subscribers are not ISDE members. A subscription gives access to the Video Library only. Membership benefits, including members-only webinars, the journal subscription, committee opportunities and reduced World Congress rates, are available to members only. What’s the difference between a subscription and membership? A subscription gives you the Video Library only, and subscribers are not ISDE members. Membership includes the Video Library plus the journal, members-only webinars, access to developing and published guidelines and opportunities to contribute to them, committee opportunities, literature updates, the International Fellowship Directory and reduced World Congress registration. Does the Video Library include guidelines? The library includes lectures and presentations about guidelines and how they affect or are implemented in practice. Access to developing and published guidelines in Diseases of the Esophagus and related journals is a member benefit. Can I see what’s in the Video Library before subscribing? Yes. All video titles are visible to everyone, and a selection of 30 videos is free to watch. The remaining videos require a login: subscribe or join ISDE to unlock them. Who can join ISDE as a member? Membership is open to specialists in esophageal diseases, including physicians, surgeons, basic scientists, trainees, other health professionals and members of related industries. See membership categories and fees What can I watch on a subscription? The full Video Library, including all new videos added during your subscription. How do I find a specific video? Use the library’s advanced search to filter by category or tag, or search keywords in video titles and descriptions. You can search by speaker name, procedure or disease. Can I cancel anytime? Yes. You can stop automatic renewal payments at any time from the Profile tab in your profile: go to the Membership details section and select Stop recurring payments. You can also cancel in writing to the ISDE office at info@isde.net. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Are refunds available? Subscription fees are non-refundable, with these exceptions. Monthly plans: if you contact us within 48 hours of a charge for an accidental sign-up or unintended renewal, we will refund it. Annual plans: the same applies if you contact us within 14 days of the charge. Billing errors, such as duplicate charges or charges after a confirmed cancellation, are always refunded. Renewal reminders will be sent in advance of your renewal date to remind you of upcoming subscription charges. How does auto-renewal work? Monthly plans renew each month on your sign-up date. Annual plans renew 12 months after you subscribe. Both continue until cancelled. How is a subscription different from membership billing? Subscriptions renew automatically on your sign-up date until cancelled. Membership dues are annual and are invoiced at the start of each calendar year. Can I watch on my phone or tablet? Yes, on any device with an internet connection. Do I earn CME or CPD credits? No. Although Video Library content is educational it is not accredited for CME or CPD. Can I upgrade to membership later? Yes, at any time. If you upgrade, the remaining full months of your paid subscription can be credited toward your first year of membership dues. Credits apply only to remaining full months and only in the first year, and a credit is not a cash refund. | Subscription options
