Membership Information
Membership to the ISDE is open to specialists in the field of esophageal diseases including physicians, surgeons, basic scientists, trainees, other health professionals and members of related industries.
• Electronic subscription to the Society’s Journal “Diseases of the Esophagus”. The Journal is published 8 times a year.
• Reduced registration rate to the bi-annual world congress of the ISDE. The 13th World Congress is in October 2012 in Venice, Italy.
• Regular literature updates.
• Notification of upcoming events related to the field of esophageal diseases.

| **We are pleased to now offer pro-rated dues for the initial year for new members only. Members who join the ISDE between April 1-June 30 will receive a 25% discount; between July 1-September 30 will receive a 50% discount; between October 1-December 31 will receive a 75% discount. Discounts apply only for new members and only for the initial year that they join. |

Payments are to be made on first joining and thereafter at the beginning of each calendar year. New members will receive an invoice from the ISDE Secretariat. Payment can be made using the following methods:
• Credit Card: Visa or MasterCard only. Charges will appear on your credit card statement under “International Conference Services”, the ISDE Secretariat. If you are paying by credit card and the Card Holder Name is different from the Registered Member's Name, you are required to provide a Credit Card Authorization Form completed by the Card Holder together with a copy of the front and back of the credit card. • Cheque in USD: cheques to be made payable to “ISDE” and mailed to International Conference Services 2101-1177 West Hastings Street Vancouver, BC, Canada V6E 2K3
• Bank Wire Transfer: a $25.00 wire transfer fee will apply. Please contact the ISDE Secretariat for banking details.
When the ISDE Secretariat confirms your application and payment, a confirmation letter will be mailed to you. The official Journal `Diseases of the Esophagus' will be sent directly from the publisher.
Annual dues are non-refundable. Membership can be voluntarily cancelled at any time. Members with payments over 6 months due will have their journal subscription suspended. Members with payments over 12 months due will have their membership lapsed.
